Ugandan internet penetration reaches 50% in Q3

Internet subscriptions in Uganda have crossed the 20 million mark, suggesting that nearly one in every two Ugandans has internet access, according to the third quarter market performance report by the Uganda Communications Commission (UCC). Mobile broadband subscriptions grew by 1.2 million from 18.9 million at the end of June 2020 to 20.12 million in September and there were 30,486 fixed internet subscriptions
