Ugandan mobile phone subscriptions reach 25.6 mln in Q3

The number of mobile phone users in Uganda increased to 25.6 million in the third quarter ended September 2019 from 24.5 million at the same point in 2018, according to statistics from the Uganda Communication Commission (UCC). Mobile internet subscription rose to 15.3 million from 14.4 million in 2018 while penetration reached 37.9 percent.
