Ugandan police arrest 37 people on suspected illegal SIM and airtime card procurement

Ugandan police has announced the arrests of people linked to offences including illegal possession of approximately 2,000 SIM cards, ITWeb reported. They have charged 37 Chinese nationals and all but four have pleaded guilty and are being remanded in custody while awaiting sentencing.
