Ugandan president orders refund of mobile money tax

Ugandan president Yoweri Museveni says subscribers who paid 1 percent in mobile money tax should be refunded, reports The Observer.  Museveni said that the 1 percent tax that he ordered to be reduced to 0.5 percent, was passed in error, and he signed the bill knowing it had an error. He said that when parliament reconvenes, it will be requested to correct the error.
