Thursday 6 June 2019 | 14:11 CET | News
The National Information Technology Authority-Uganda (NITA-U) said 500 additional Wi-Fi points will be installed in the country over the next six months, Ecofin reported. Of the total, 284 have already been deployed, in Kampala, Wakiso and Entebbe. The 216 additional points will be rolled out over the next half year. The company said it will prioritise rural zones where a fibre line is present, such as in the West Nile region.
