UK churches to help spread broadband in rural areas

The Church of England offered to allow 16,000 of its churches be equipped with satellite-based broadband antennas to help the UK government increase broadband coverage to 95 percent of properties, writes TheTelegraph.co.uk. The equipment will be installed on the churches' spires and will help spread broadband in rural communities where traditional broadband delivered by wire cables can be too difficult to be implemented.
