UK digital ad spend grows 13.4% in H1 2015 - study

Digital ad spend in the UK grew by 13.4 percent to reach GBP 3.98 billion in 1st-half 2015, with mobile spend up 51 percent to account for almost 80 percent of the rise in digital ad revenues, according to the latest Advertising Bureau (IAB) UK Digital Adspend report from PwC. Display ad revenues grew 27.5 percent to GBP 1.31 billion, for 33 percent of total ad spend. Within display, video ad spend grew 56 percent to GBP 292 million, accounting for 22 percent of display revenue. Social media spend rose 51 percent to GBP 574 million while native/content grew 50 percent to GBP 325 million,
