UK govt appoints former Obama advisor to examine digital competition

The UK government has announced a new expert panel, led by Professor Jason Furman, to look at competition in the digital economy. Furman was chief economic advisor to former US President Barack Obama. The panel will run from September 2018 to early-2019, followed by a final report of recommendations to government.
