UK govt drops Trans Pennine mobile connectivity project over high costs

The UK Government has abandoned a plan to boost mobile coverage along the Trans Pennine rail route after delivery partner Network Rail said it would cost GBP 25 million and take up to four years to complete, reports The Telegraph.
