UK govt selects Lord Burns as new Chair of Ofcom

Following an open recruitment process, the UK Government has selected Lord (Terry) Burns as the preferred candidate for Chair of Ofcom from 01 January 2018. Lord Burns will now appear before the Digital, Culture, Media & Sport Select Committee on 13 December. The term of outgoing chair Dame Patricia Hodgson ends on 31 December.
