UK High Court rules police use of facial recognition systems is lawful

The UK High Court has ruled that use of live facial recognition technology by South Wales Police does interfere with the privacy rights of citizens, but is currently lawful. This follows a legal challenge by Cardiff resident Ed Bridges, represented by human rights group Liberty.
