UK launches government-backed UK5G consortium

Cambridge Wireless, Knowledge Transfer Network and TM Forum have teamed up to launch UK5G, a UK government-backed consortium partnership with a mission to support the development of the UK as a global leader in the development and adoption of 5G technology. Endorsed and funded by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, the UK5G innovation network seeks to bring together organisations across the 5G ecosystem, including research bodies, technology providers, investors, regulators and vertical industry partners yet to appreciate the benefits of next generation connectivity.
