UK local councils failing to report data breaches - study

UK local authorities are subjected to 19 million cyber attacks a year, according to a new report from privacy group Big Brother Watch. The report highlights a lack of cyber security training for council staff, as well as councils failing to report losses and breaches of data, despite collecting masses of sensitive and personal data on citizens.
