UK operators routinely overcharge for phones within bundled contracts - study

About 4 million people in the UK pay a total of GBP 490 million extra on their contracts in six month, charged for phones they already own, according to a study from Citizens Advice conducted in July. The study found that the big three, EE, 3 UK and Vodafone, routinely make customers pay for their phone beyond the point when these have been paid off. People are often unaware this is happening.
