UK SMEs increase cloud computing take-up by 15%

Cloud computing take-up by UK SMEs has increased 15 percent in the last year, according to research by Business and the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC). The research shows that 69 percent of UK SMEs use cloud-based applications, with more than half (53%) believing that they are critical to effective remote working. It also found that 9 in 10 (91%) of companies now have at least one member of staff working from home, and a fifth of businesses (19%) have more than half of their workforce working away from their main office location.
