UK streaming music sales grow 26% in 2019

The UK passed 100 billion album streams for the first time in 2019, according to figures released by the music industry group BPI. The total 114 billion streams in 2019 was up by 26 percent from the previous year and accounted for 74.4 percent of Album Equivalent Sales (AES) recorded by the UK music industry last year.
