UK TV industry revenue worth GBP 13.2 bln in 2014 - Ofcom

The UK TV industry generated revenue of GBP 13.2 billion in 2014, up 3.1 percent year-on-year, according to Ofcom's latest Communications Market report. IHS data shows that pay-TV subscription revenues increased 1.9 percent from GBP 5.9 billion to GBP 6 billion in 2014, with online TV revenues up 38 percent to GBP 793 million, and income from online TV subscriptions up 53 percent to GBP 317 million in 2014.
