UKE evaluates consultation on broadband deregulation

The Polish regulator UKE closed the consultation on the draft decision releasing Orange Poland of regulatory obligations on the broadband access market (market 5) in 76 municipalities. The UKE concluded, based on market analysis, that competition is efficient and there are no operators with significant market power, reports Rpkom.pl. Ending regulatory obligations in the 76 municipalities is expected to motivate Orange Poland to invest in broadband infrastructure.
