UKE plans to distribute 3.7 GHz band in blocks of 50 MHz

Tuesday 19 March 2019 | 11:01 CET | News
Polish regulator UKE plans to distribute the first 5G frequencies in the 3.7 GHz band this year or in 2020, UKE's chairman told Newseria. The distribution process will be launched in the form of a tender, in which each operator could acquire 50 MHz. This way, he explains, all four infrastructure operators (T-Mobile Poland, Orange Poland, Polkomtel and P4) would have the chance to launch services at the same time.
