Ukraine extends term for regulator chief

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has appointed Alexander Zhivotovskiy the head of national regulator NKRZI, for a new 6-year term, reports BizLigaNet. Zhivotovskiy plans to focus on improving mobile connection along motorways and railways and in rural areas, and to launch a 5G network from 2020. He also wants the adoption of new telecom legislation.
