Ukrainian active smartphone connections rise in September

Mobile operator Life:) Ukraine reported that there were 1.07 million smartphone users connected to its network at the end of September, reports BizLigaNet, up 42 percent year-on-year. The figure for Kyivstar's network was 2.7 million, up by 21 percent year-on-year. MTS Ukraine had 2.8 million smartphone owners among its subscribers, up by 56 percent. The smartphone penetration rates were 13 percent, 10.6 percent and 14 percent respectively on the mobile networks.
