Ukrainian govt to found telecoms watchdog to replace NKRZI

The Ukrainian parliament has adopted a law to found a new national telecommunications regulator to be responsible for the quality of mobile, internet and postal services. The new regulator will replace the current one, NKRZI. The new law is based on EU law in this area and was developed under the framework of the Association Agreement with the EU and the EU Eastern Partnership Programme.
