UKTV reports record revenue for 2015, EBITDA up 10%

Broadcaster UKTV has reported 2015 revenue up 13 percent to a record GBP 319 million, with EBITDA up 10 percent to GBP 82 million. Operating profit reached a record GBP 79.6 million, up from GBP 72.3 million in 2014 and GBP 66.2 million in 2013 (an increase of over 20% over two years). The record results follow an increase of over 20 percent investment in programming and related launches. UKTV's channel portfolio now has the two top-rating non-PSB channels in the UK: Dave and Drama.
