Ultra Mobile launches plans aimed at Latino community

US MVNO Ultra Mobile has launched no-contract plans starting at USD 29 a month aimed at frequent callers and texters to Latin America. The new plans are intended to replace prepaid calling cards used by many in the Latino community. Ultra Mobile is offering three plans: USD 29 a month includes unlimited talk in the US and global text; USD 39 for unlimited talk, text, HSPA data and USD 5 of credit, or around 250 minutes of international calls; and USD 49 for unlimited talk, text, 1 GB of 4G data and USD 20 of credit, or around 1,000 minutes of international voice.
