Unicef reaches 14 mln in Iraq via SMS with critical Covid-19 info

About 14 million people in Iraq have been reached with critical information on Covid-19 through SMS alerts. The messages aim to increase awareness and combat dangerous misinformation spreading online and offline. Unicef has partnered with the operators Korek Telecom, Zain and Asiacell to provide people with reliable information on prevention, as well as mental and physical health during the pandemic.
