UniForum South Africa picked as dotAfrica domain registrar

The .za central registry operator, UniForum South Africa, said it has been picked by the African Union (AU) as its preferred registry operator for the forthcoming dotAfrica Top Level Domain, MyBroadband reported. DotAfrica is intended to be a distinctive pan-African identification for regional online operations. Neil Dundas, a UniForum SA director, said the AU Commission will work with it on ways to promote dotAfrica.
