Uninor adds 2.3 mln subscribers in Q4

Telenor's Indian operation added 2.3 million subscriptions during the fourth quarter of 2014, for a total 36.6 million at end-December. Uninor's subscriber baser jumped 31 percent year-on-year in the fourth quarter. Around 22 percent of the subscribers are now active data users. Uninor saw fourth-quarter revenues of NOK 1.187 billion, up from NOK 836 million a year ago. The adjusted EBITDA loss narrowed to NOK 97 million from NOK 136 million. Capex jumped to NOK 130 million in the quarter, versus NOK 84 million in the fourth quarter of 2013.
