Uninor appoints Grameenphone's Mohammad as COO

Indian mobile operator Uninor has appointed Tanveer Mohammad as its chief operating officer. Mohammad currently serves as CTO of mobile operator Grameenphone, Telenor Group's operating company in Bangladesh. Uninor's present COO Ruza Sabanovic will move to the Telenor Group headquarters in Oslo to take up the position of head of group technology. In his new role, Sabanovic will focus on driving the network and IT transformation agenda across Telenor Group companies in Europe and Asia.
