Uninor sees revenues grow, EBITDA loss narrow in Q2

Indian mobile operator Uninor's second-quarter revenues totaled NOK 1.021 billion, up from NOK 728 million a year ago, controlling shareholder Telenor reported. The EBITDA loss narrowed to NOK 106 million from NOK 153 million a year earlier. Telenor's Indian operation added 2 million subscriptions in the second quarter, increasing the total subscription base to 32.6 million at end-June. At the end of the quarter, the operator's subscriber base was 33 percent higher than the same quarter last year.
