Union criticises Amazon Germany employee dismissals

German service workers union Ver.di criticizes Amazon Deutschland decision to dismiss several employees just before Christmas. The union claims that Amazon dismissed several employees on 23 December without notice. Last week, Ver.di coordinate strikes of Amazon employees at several distribution centres to force negotiations about wages, but Amazon is refusing to budge.
