Unions against sale of Telekom Srbija

Tuesday 7 April 2015 | 10:29 CET | News
The unions representing Telekom Srbija workers are against the sale of the operator, planned for this year by the state, pointing out that it is one of the most successful Serbian companies, reports B92. They also highlight the fact that Telekom Srbija's revenue accounts for 12 percent of revenues of the Serbian state budget. The unions are also worried about possible redundancies after the privatisation, claiming that over 50 percent of workers were laid off at Hrvatski Telekom after it was purchased by Deutsche Telekom.
