Unitymedia equips refugee centres with WLAN

Monday 12 October 2015 | 10:56 CET | News
Unitymedia announced that it equipped refugee centres with WLAN in partnership with local authorities and aid organisations. To accelerate the implementation of the internet services, the German cable operator published a form for cities and responsible bodies, which is available at blog.unitymedia.de/jeder-anschluss-zaehlt. Unitymedia encourages the voluntary support of its employees for organising donation appeals or aid measures. Unitymedia workers who volunteer at charities can get up to two weeks of additional vacation for their volunteer work.
