Universal internet app platform project wins EU funding

An international research consortium, led by the Frauenhofer Fokus Institute, has been awarded EU funding to drive developments for Future Internet. The Europe-wide Webinos project aims to develop a single universal platform for the development of mobile internet applications and includes over 20 partners from research and industry, representing the mobile web, consumer electronics and the automotive industry.
