Univision's Fusion inks deal to expand to Mexico with Televisa

The Fusion Media Group (FMG) unit of US broadcaster Univision Communications has reached an agreement with Televisa to launch a 24-hour Spanish-language cable channel. In a statement, FMG said the Fusion-branded network will be operated by Televisa and will feature locally-produced Spanish-language programming for a young Mexican audience as well as local versions of shows originally developed for Fusion in the US. The deal will see Fusion MX distributed across several national providers reaching nearly 14 million Mexican households and the potential for additional distribution across Latin
