UOKiK proceeds against Polkomtel for premium rate services

The Polish Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK) has announced that it has begun proceedings against mobile operator Polkomtel over its premium rate SMS services and charging for information services without consent. According to UOKiK, Polkomtel does not take full responsibility for the services, for which it charges fees.
