UPC Austria adds almost 32,000 broadband customers in 2014

UPC Austria gained 31,900 new broadband customers in 2014, for a total 464,000 at year-end. In total, the cable operator had 1.35 million revenue-generating units at the end of 2014, an increase of 3.4 percent over the year. The provider also 21,300 won new telephony customers, finishing 2014 with a total 369,500. In the TV sector, the company had 517,400 customers, a decrease of 1.3 percent or 6,800 subscriptions year-on-year. The total customer base rose by 1.6 percent of 10,400 in 2014 to 653,100.
