UPC Broadband Slovakia raises user base

Operator UPC Broadband Slovakia, controlled by Liberty Global, said total RGUs grew by 5,500 year-on-year in the first quarter to 406,700, driven by internet RGUs. These increased by 4,900 to 146,700. Pay-TV RGUs decreased by 900 to 170,600. The number of telephony RGUs advanced by 1,400 to 89,300.
