UPC buys out Geneva fibre network

Swiss network operator UPC has become the sole shareholder of the TeleOnex SA fibre optic cable network in Geneva. UPC previously owned a 49 percent share in the network, with the majority stake held by the Onex municipal council. As of 01 January, the Onex council has sold its shares to UPC.
