UPC Hungary launches Wi-Fi network

UPC Hungary launched a nationwide free public Wi-Fi network. The operator's Wi-Fi network provides permanent free connectivity to cable and mobile internet subscribers nationwide and through 200,000 Wi-Free points of access in Hungary and millions points of access across Europe, namely in the Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, Ireland, Poland and Romania. Customers can access the network through their MyUPC account name and password. UPC Romania, whose CEO is also in charge of UPC Hungary, also released a Wi-Fi network at the end of October.
