UPC NL loses more customers in Q4, revenues down 3.2%

UPC Netherlands lost 21,200 customers in the fourth quarter compared to three months earlier, for a total 1.634 million at year-end. Over the full year, 97,900 customers were lost. The number of revenue-generating units grew by just 100 in Q4, as growth in broadband and telephony offset the losses in TV. The analog customer base fell by 27,900 in the three months, to 523,900, while digital TV subscribers rose by 6,600 over the same period to 1.108 million. UPC said it had 210,000 customers using its new Horizon set-top box at year-end. The broadband base was up 14,500 in Q4 to 1.068 million,
