UPC Poland extends coverage through acquisition of Azart-Sat

UPC Poland extended the coverage of its services to the cities Boleslawiec and Kowary in Lower Silesia and Zdzieszowice following the acquisition in December 2014 of the company Azart-Sat. UPC now offers in the new area its Horizon box with TV, internet and telephony services as well as mobile TV. The local broadband service offers speeds up to 250 Mbps. Customers of Azart-Sat will be notified 30 days in advance of the migration to UPC technology, which is expected to start 1 September, first in Boleslawiec. The migration will consist of re-installation or exchange of the device by a UPC
