UPC Romania aims for 0.3 mln-household annual expansion

Thursday 16 March 2017 | 13:46 CET | News
UPC Romania aims to keep its fixed network's expansion pace to 250,000-300,000 households per year, which is in line with Liberty Global's expansion strategy for the Central and Eastern Europe, writes local paper Ziarul Financiar citing UPC Romania and UPC Hungary CEO, Robert Redeleanu. The operator aims to expand its fixed network to cover half of Romanian households, Redeleanu said. At present, UPC Romania covers about 30 percent of the 7.4 million homes in Romania. In 2013, it covered 800,000 households.
