Uplus passes 50,000 IoT at Home service subs milestone

South Korean mobile operator LG Uplus has reached over 50,000 subscribers to its home IoT service. The operator plans to "continue to roll out diverse IoT services", The Korea Times reports, citing LG Uplus' Home IoT business team leader, Kim Young-man. "To this end, we plan to expand our product portfolio in collaboration with manufacturing and service-providing partners at home and abroad", Kim Young-man said.
