Uruguay reaches 51.5% LTE coverage as mobile base declines

Uruguay ended June 2018 with LTE coverage of 51.5 percent of the territory, according to the latest report from Ursec. Coverage ranged from 99.9 percent of the capital Montevideo to 33.6 percent in Tacuarembo. GSM and 3G networks reached 91 percent of the territory.
