US ambassador celebrates Italy's removal from watch list

Italy's removal from the US government's watch list of countries with copyright enforcement problems will open new investment opportunities for the country, according to the US ambassador in Italy, John Phillips. Radiocor reports that the ambassador organised an event to celebrate the news at his Villa Taverna residence, calling Italy's removal from the watch list after 25 years a "special result" and hailing the new Italian copyright regulations that entered into force on 31 March, adding that "US companies pay attention to whether or not a country is on the watch list when choosing where to
