US broadband households to buy almost 55 mln smart home devices in 2020

US broadband households will buy almost 55 million smart home devices in 2020, according to a research by Parks Associates. At present, many smart home devices, including smart thermostats, lights, locks, and networked cameras, are still in the early adopter stage, with adoption levels at less than 15 percent of US households.
