US cable firms in talks to start sports-free deals - report

Viacom, Discovery Communications, AMC Networks and other cable companies are in talks to introduce sports-free entertainment packages priced under USD 20, Bloomberg reported. The companies are in talks with four to six pay-TV distributors. Discussions are at various stages, but at least one service could be introduced this year, the sources said.
