US Cellular granted temporary access to more spectrum for increased capacity

US Cellular has been granted access to additional spectrum by the FCC in order to support increased capacity during the coronavirus crisis. The Federal Communications Commission's Wireless Telecommunications Bureau said it gace Special Temporary Authority to US Cellular to use additional spectrum in the AWS-3 band for 60 days in parts of California, Oregon, Washington and Wisconsin.
