US Ignite, Spectrum award grant to Ohio for smart transport initiatives

The smart city specialist group US Ignite and the cable operator Charter Communications (Spectrum) awarded a multi-year grant and resources to the state of Ohio for designing and implementing smart transportation initiatives. The first project underway is in Lima, where the partners are exploring ways to improve traffic and safety at the city's over 40 railroad crossings using connected systems.
