US imprisons fraudster after phone unlocking scheme costs AT&T USD 200 mln

The US Department of Justice said it sentenced Muhammad Fahd, a citizen of Pakistan and Grenada, to 12 years in prison for his leadership role in a seven-year scheme to unlawfully unlock nearly 2 million phones to defraud AT&T, inflicting more than USD 200 million in losses.
